"Veggie Bowl"

This was a painting I started in Italy and finished this weekend. I had it all blocked in, but had not gone back to put on the final coat of paint. I painted this on our second rain day before we used the ingredients to make dinner later that night.

"Tomato on Plates"

This painting has caused much discussion with my art group. The more you look at it the more you see. Hint: It's a big square plate, containing a small round plate. Whatever else you see is up to you. Enjoy!

"Apples on Glass"

I love apples - I like to eat and paint them. I set up this little still life with a left over sample of green glass from one of our UT jobs. I really liked the contrasting glass color with the red apples.

"Ethereal Pear" - SOLD

This was fun. I played with abstracting a typical still life for a totally different look. I have had so many people say encouraging things to me about my abstracts that I will pursue them more often. I generally have much more fun painting them anyway! Thank you Tom. I'm sure this painting has found a great new home.
