This is my rendition of "Bo Futch" a very talkative macaw who lives in Kerville. I woke up this morning and decided it was a "Bo day" and painted him while doing the laundry.
Thank you B.N.S. for purchasing my painting!!! I'm thrilled that you are giving it a good home and I appreciate your support so much. And yes, I do commissions!! ENJOY!
This is a small watercolor study done from a photo trip last springs with our dear friends Pat & Johnny. I know all the flowers aren't out yet, but I can't wait. Last year's wildflowers were so beautiful.
This is my painting that was shown at the Watercolor Art Society - Houston, 31st International show. The juried exhibit ran for one month. I was so very honored to have been juried into this show by Stephen Quiller. I went to the opening and was awe struck by the entire show.
Thank you Geri for purchasing "Moon Dog". I'm glad to know a little Rockport painting has found a new home in Alabama. Enjoy!! It's almost time for our annual plein air painting trip in Rockport. Anyone familiar with Rockport/Fulton Bay will know about Moondogs. I painted this angle from one of our first trips. We have all painted many versions of this building and I thought I'd share mine.

After a lifetime of doing everything but art, I have now put my love of painting as a first priority. I wanted to major in art in college, but was quickly talked out of it by my father who said I'd never make a living with an art degree. So, scared that I might starve, I majored in business but squeezed in as many art electives as possible. Upon graduation I immediately went to work and never stopped. Never painted either!!
I now devote several days per week to pure painting time and enjoy the company of many local painters. Current art memberships include: Austin Plein Air, Waterloo Watercolor Group and Austin Pastel Society.
Juried Exhibitions include:
AUSTIN PASTEL SOCIETY Minature Show (2009) Won First in Show, Juror: Susan Kemner Reed
WATERCOLOR ART SOCIETY-HOUSTON 31st International Exhibition - Juror: Stephen Quiller (2008); WATERLOO WATERCOLOR GROUP FALL EXHIBITION - Juror: Christopher Shinck (2008);

1ST PLACE WINNER - Waterloo Watercolor Society Fall Challenge (2007)
