"Abstract Silk"

This is a really big one - 24 x 36 acrylic on canvas. This painting was inspired by a new silk blouse I recently purchased. I fell in love with the colors and suddenly saw a painting in my head. I worked on it day and night almost non-stop for 3 days and this is the outcome. It was great fun, but pretty exhausting. It was also difficult to photograph because of the size. I've actually cropped it more than the original painting. This piece will be on exhibit at Bass Concert Hall from January 22nd to April 26th.
