This is the second in my Twilight abstract series. I have been busy getting ready for another art show which anyone in the area is invited to attend. More to come on date and location in my next post.
Vicki, I am surprising myself by how much I like these last two abstracts--I never thought that type of art was my cup of tea! But these are lovely. Can't wait to see the next ones. Jane M.
I see you snuck the cat in, cool. I like that painting. Wish I was an artist, then I might have something intelligent to say. Upper left hand corner got me, someone or some dang thing going down.
To order original paintings or prints please visit my site at Fine Art America: vicki-brevell.artistwebsites.com or contact me via email: vickibrevell@yahoo.com. All credit cards accepted as well as PayPal.
After a lifetime of doing everything but art, I have now put my love of painting as a first priority. I wanted to major in art in college, but was quickly talked out of it by my father who said I'd never make a living with an art degree. So, scared that I might starve, I majored in business but squeezed in as many art electives as possible. Upon graduation I immediately went to work and never stopped. Never painted either!!
I now devote several days per week to pure painting time and enjoy the company of many local painters. Current art memberships include: Austin Plein Air, Waterloo Watercolor Group and Austin Pastel Society.
Juried Exhibitions include:
AUSTIN PASTEL SOCIETY Minature Show (2009) Won First in Show, Juror: Susan Kemner Reed
WATERCOLOR ART SOCIETY-HOUSTON 31st International Exhibition - Juror: Stephen Quiller (2008); WATERLOO WATERCOLOR GROUP FALL EXHIBITION - Juror: Christopher Shinck (2008);
WATERLOO WATERCOLOR GROUP ANNUAL EXHIBITION - Juror: Joe Fettingis (2007)
1ST PLACE WINNER - Waterloo Watercolor Society Fall Challenge (2007)

Nice series, is this acrylic or watercolor? And can you put these together to make a larger abstract? What fun to paint!
