One Woman Show!!

I am having my first "One Woman Show" at ArtSpace in downtown Round Rock! We had the opening reception last Wednesday and I was so thrilled at the turnout.
There were speeches . . . an official ribbon cutting for the new ArtSpace and many friends who came and wished me their best. Such a fun event.
My show will continue to run until the end of May. If you haven't had a chance to see it, please swing by. ArtSpace, 231 E. Main Street, downtown Round Rock. Open Thursday's thru Sunday's - 11 am to 6 pm.

Vicki--congratulations on your exhibit at ArtSpace. You had terrific pieces displayed and a nice range of subjects.
I was particularly taken by Arkansas Bend and would like to buy it (hope it isn't already gone). I can send you a check or give you credit card information.
Thanks,
Lois G. Shrout

It was fun to stop by the show and see you, David and Rick. We really enjoyed your artwork.

Just let me know when the show is over. I am looking forward to bringing the painting here to its new home. I need to pick out a good spot for it. I am glad it wasn’t already sold.

It was a really nice reception. Great stuff on the walls, too! I really liked the storm cloud one. I'm telling you (and you know what that's worth), you are a painter of BIG pictures. They are powerful and expressive and you are denying yourself (and us) by not working on large canvas, paper or whatever you put them on. I am so happy for you. I think you will go far with your art. Rest up and then go paint, paint, paint! Love ya! Glenda

Vicki,
I am thrilled to be getting your art work....and yes I remembered where you were when you painted those..that is why I wanted them..I could remember you telling me the story of you painting the Italian Villa..it was right across from where you were staying..am I right??? I will call Shirley tonight and let her know that she can buy a print if she would like. Great idea....

Sounds like you deserve a few days rest..enjoy and do something for yourself..

luv ya,

Terry

We were happy to be there and very impressed with your work. It's just beautiful. I was most impressed with your watercolor abstracts. i can't believe you can get such deep rich color out of watercolor. You are very talented!

Loved seeing you and your show.

Hi Vicki,

Your show was just tremdous, especially the bright colors. You should feel very proud to have produced such excellent work. Hopefully some people will buy some of it to enjoy in their own homes..

I am one of the most timid and crappy drivers you will ever meet but would do it again for your show or Rae's. You both were so very kind to me in Italy, and before the trip, I was in great fear of being around all of you accomplished painters.
Waterloo has done great things for me.

Thanks for inviting me,
Courtney

I'm so happy for you. I had a meeting with Rae today and she said you were a basket case yesterday. :) and it sounds like today was a repeat. That's a good way to be tired and yes, my son is a handsome and adorable kid as is his older brother. He is also a terrible smart-ass....but that doesn't come across when he is all dressed up. Now you will have to come to our Annex thingie and I'm haven't a clue what is happening. Go paint...............your work is amazing. Sue

Hi Vic, so how are you today? feeling a little relieved that the big night is over?
It was great fun, and I took over 70 pictures. I will put them on a cd for you, of course a lot are for my reference, but there are some 'normal' ones in there as well.
Congratulations on a successful first night!!
Love
Rae xx
