"Anderson Mill"

Last week we had a plein air paint out at the 'real'
Anderson Mill. I had no idea this spot existed.
The mill and the original land owners have a long history.
This is a watercolor/gouache painting I did from my original
plein air sketch on location.

Lovely work! I especially liked the way you handled the trees and the siding on the building in the plein air piece. I don't get out to paint on location very often. Mostly just when we are on vacation. It can be fun or frustrating, depending on the day!

I hope the new brushes work well for you.

Happy Halloween,
Elizabeth

I didn't know there was a REAL Anderson Mill still in existence. Tell us the history if you're at book club on Friday.
