French Poppy Fields - SOLD

I'm baack! Life has been ultra hectic lately and I have neglected my painting. Now that Imagine, Annex and ArtSpace exhibits are behind me, I finally got out the brushes. This is the first time I've painted in this long format. This is a 12" x 40" canvas. The first thing that came to mind when I saw the blank canvas was the wide open poppy fields of France. Since my upcoming trip is just around the corner in May, my mind is traveling in that direction. This is not a very good photo, I need a wide angle lens to really capture it, but you'll get the idea anyway. This painting is going to a very good home!!!

So glad you are felling well enough to paint. Our trip is coming up soon - can hardly wait. Taking a pastel class early april - I may take "chalks" as Rae said to call them. Hugs, N

I like!! I like!!! My first thought about a 12x40 piece is that it would be a great art work to put above a bed or perched on a mantel. Love it! Get out and look at the moon if you see this soon.

Glad you’re back. Very lovely work. What medium ? When are you going to Sue’s house for her show ? How about Saturday around four after folks start to leave and they still want someone to talk to…..a glass of wine too.
