Monet's Lily Pond

Fresh from my trip to France, this is a view of Monet's lily pond. I got to stand on his actual bridge overlooking this beautiful huge lily pond. I did this watercolor from one of my photos. I have many more views to paint from and will keep going. So much to paint and so little time!!

I just got your blog painting of Monet's pond. It is a wonderful painting. The whole of it just floats around more than a lily on water. The more I look at it.....it just floats entirely, like it really isn't on canvas, like it's just in your mind. It's kind of a thought. A very nice thought to hold onto. One I will.

Hey, your Monet's Lily Pond painting is awesome! My sister used to have a Monet poster framed of the bridge over the lily pond. Will show this to her.
