"Italian Sunflower" - SOLD

I saw this huge sunflower last year on our Italy adventure. It was inside a gelato shop sitting on the counter. I'd never seen such a big sunflower, so I snapped a photo and this is my interpretation. It's 14 x 11 oil on canvas. Thank you Daryl & Karolyn for purchasing not only this version but also my watercolor of the same flower.

I'm amazed by how well you can paint in all these mediums! This sunflower is gorgeous! so full of life and colour! You have indeed reached your calling.Whatever the circumstances, the urge to create never leaves until we finally surrender to it...happily.

How about this for a design for a wall painting, in the tried-and-true Art Nouveau style?: http://EN.WahooArt.com/A55A04/w.nsf/OPRA/BRUE-

, by the famous English artist, Audrey Beardsley himself. You can also order a canvas print of the picture
