"Villa Gardens"

This is a watercolor sketch of the villa patio next door. I was looking for a shady spot to sit and decided to do a quick sketch of this view. I tried to do at least one quick study of something every day.

"Floral Abstract"

This is another experiment with photographing the painting in a mat. In reality the mat is pure white, although the colors of the painting seem to be pretty accurate. Interesting - might want to unmat before I take the photo next time. Anyway I meant this to be a little abstract with a iris feel.

"First Morning" SOLD

Thank you East Texas Paws!! I painted this little guy this afternoon. He was born this past spring and found in my next door neighbor's yard. We snuck up on him and took his picture. He was perfectly happy and not at all frightened. Somehow, when you see him at this stage he's cute, but you forget that next year he will devour all my yard plants!
