Whoopee! I just found out that this little 8x10 pastel won First In Show at the Austin Pastel Society Miniature Show. The juror was Susan Kennar Reed and the entire show is currently on display in the Scarborough Building lobby, located at 6th & Congress. It's on the 6th Street side, entry doors just to the right of the bank. If you're in the neighborhood in the next few weeks, stop by and take a look. It's a beautiful show.

Looks good, Vic; I think you're on a roll! And congrats on the win from APS, it's a great piece, and I love that O'Hagan-like crispness of strokes and values!

Looks good. I like. Again, my colors are pastels. I really like it in pastels. You will have to come see it. See you at the pool today?

This is a great piece! I like when you put people in the paintings. This conjures up all kinds of scenarios and stories. Congrats! Great work.
